SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
CATOOSA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
CATOOSA COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING
JULY 25, 2007, 9:00 A.M.
The special called meeting of the Catoosa County Board of Commissioners was called to order at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. The following Commissioners were present: Ken Marks, Commissioner, District One; Robert Winters, Commissioner, District Two; James F. Emberson, Commissioner, District Three; Dewayne Hill, Commissioner, District Four. The following Commissioners were absent: William H.H. Clark, Chairman.
Commissioner Ken Marks called the meeting to order and stated the purpose of the special called meeting was to present the Board of Commissioners with the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2007-2008. Carl Henson, Chief Financial Officer, presented the Board with the proposed budget. Mr. Henson stated the County would hold two public hearings regarding the budget on August 7, 2007 at 9:00a.m. and August 21, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.. Mr. Henson stated there will only be two public hearings due to there not being a tax increase and there will actually be a 4/10ths a mil (approx. 641,000) rollback due to LOST revenue. Mr. Henson discussed a summary of the proposed budget being presented to the Board.
There was no further business, and upon unanimous consent the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
