Charles Lancaster has served as your UGA County Extension Coordinator and Agricultural Agent for the past 22 years. Prior to coming to Catoosa County in October of 1993 Charles served as 4-H Coordinator in Clayton County, Agricultural/4-H agent in Pike County and began his Extension Career in Coweta County as a 4-H/Agricultural Agent in July of 1984. Charles earned his BS degree in Agronomy/Soil Science from UGA in the Fall of 83’ and an AS in Agriculture from Gainesville Junior College in fall of 81’.
Our County Extension office is your link to the University of Georgia and UGA Cooperative Extension. Our Mission is to offer educational information to the citizens of Catoosa County and Georgia in the areas of Agriculture and Natural Resources, 4-H and Youth Development and Family and Consumer Sciences.
As Agriculture Agent, Charles is often on the phone or in his office helping clients with a wide variety of agriculture questions as well as being out in the county making home, farm and site visits.
