Greg James has been named Catoosa County Building Maintenance Director as of June 2016 and is a life long resident of Georgia. Greg and his wife, Staci, have two daughters, Lexie and Grayson. Greg is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Business Management from Middle Tennessee State University. Greg has over 24 years of experience in building, grounds and management. Prior to coming to Catoosa County, Greg was a local home builder and general contractor for 20 years. After that, he held the position of Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Red Bank Tennessee. In that position, he was responsible for eliminating blight and slum housing conditions within the City.
In his role as Director, Greg will use a "hands on" leadership approach to facilitate and manage the maintenance of all Catoosa County public buildings, the surrounding grounds and several public park areas.... A total of over 45 properties, including 7 county fire stations, Benton Place Campus, the County Jail and Sheriffs Department, 911, Animal Control, all County Administrative and Judicial Buildings, several County Parks and all Voting Precincts.
