Lora Ogden has been a resident of Catoosa County for 25 years. She earned her BA at Tift College of Mercer University. Lora has been active in the life of The Colonnade for over 12 years, beginning as a volunteer in 2003 when her son discovered a love for theatre.
Prior to coming to work at The Colonnade, Lora worked for Eastern National Park and Monument Association as both a Unit Manager and Assistant Sectional Manager for the Southeast Region. She also served as Director of the Weekday Preschool Program at First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe for 10 years. Lora also worked as a contract audio-visual technician for 2 years at Chickamauga Battlefield.
Lora began her career with Catoosa County in 2009 as the Theatre Coordinator for The Colonnade. Later she became Event Coordinator and eventually Director. Under her direction, The Colonnade has continued to grow; particularly the theatre program which saw a revenue increase of almost 40% in 2014. In 2007, she was the recipient of the Catoosa Foundation for Performing Arts Standing Ovation Award for outstanding support of the performing arts in Catoosa County.
