Athletic Facility Supervisor – Part-time - $9.50-11.00/hour
Variable Work Schedule (nights/weekends)

Responsible for on-site supervision of numerous weekday/weekend athletics and rental activities. To oversee
athletic facilities and be a liaison between the league and the Athletic Director.


  • Assist with night and weekend supervision of facilities.

  • Assist with game management duties such as crowd control, game rule interpretation and enforcement.

  • Checking pre-assigned athletic activities, rental activities, and facilities for safety of procedures and facility care.

  • Check lights, locks, equipment and monitor concessions, traffic, and public needs during assigned shifts.

  • Assist Athletic Director in the area of special events involving youth and adult athletic sporting events.

  • Prepares park facilities for programs and events; ensures that room is set-up properly, there is enough supplies, field preparation and maintenance, basic maintenance repairs on buildings, etc.

  • Performs general custodial duties at athletic facility, such as collecting and disposing of trash/debris, cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies, moving of furniture and equipment, etc.

  • Performs opening and closing procedures at various park and facility locations

  • Acts as a liaison for on-going activities

  • Financial responsibilities: Accept, receive, and/or collect payments while using a cash register or debit/credit card machine; accountable for inventory/property management; make recommendations that impact the budget.


  • Must be at least eighteen years of age, possess a valid driver’s license. Some athletic experience is preferred.


  • Ability to meet and work well with the general public.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with league officials and coaches

  • Sports experience desirable (wide-ranging including basketball, tennis, softball, baseball, and football)

  • Knowledge of contractual agreements for facility users

  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions

  • Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of the Parks and Recreation Department.

  • Able to climb, crawl, crouch, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, reach speak, stand, stoop, talk, walk, perform repetitive motion and have visual acuity.
